Effective 14 September 2026
ClearDraft works with text you type or paste into it. Your text is analysed on-device with Apple's NaturalLanguage framework and, if you save a draft, stored in the app's own container. Nothing is transmitted anywhere.
ClearDraft asks for no device permissions at all — no camera, no microphone, no photo library, no contacts.
None. We do not collect usage data, crash reports, device identifiers, or any personal information. The app makes no network requests for your content.
Subscriptions and one-time purchases are handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never see your payment details. Purchase status is checked on-device through StoreKit. Manage or cancel subscriptions in Settings › Apple ID › Subscriptions.
All content stays in the app's private storage on your device and is included in your normal iCloud or iTunes device backup according to your own backup settings. Deleting the app deletes its data.
ClearDraft does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children under 13, because it collects no information at all.
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with an updated effective date. Because the app has no server, we cannot notify you in-app; check this page if you are concerned.
