Effective 14 September 2026
LecturePad works with recordings and transcripts. Audio is recorded to the app's own storage, transcribed by Apple's on-device speech engine, and never transmitted anywhere. Key points are computed locally.
The app asks for access to the microphone and speech recognition. These permissions are used solely to provide the app's core feature on your device. You can revoke them at any time in Settings, and the app will explain what stops working.
None. We do not collect usage data, crash reports, device identifiers, or any personal information. The app makes no network requests for your content.
Subscriptions and one-time purchases are handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never see your payment details. Purchase status is checked on-device through StoreKit. Manage or cancel subscriptions in Settings › Apple ID › Subscriptions.
All content stays in the app's private storage on your device and is included in your normal iCloud or iTunes device backup according to your own backup settings. Deleting the app deletes its data.
LecturePad does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children under 13, because it collects no information at all.
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with an updated effective date. Because the app has no server, we cannot notify you in-app; check this page if you are concerned.
