Effective 14 September 2026
SubKeeper works with what you type in: the name, amount, currency, billing cycle and first billing date of each subscription you choose to track. This is stored locally with SwiftData in the app’s own container and is never transmitted.
SubKeeper does not connect to banks, card issuers, payment processors, or email accounts. It does not use Plaid or any comparable aggregator. It never asks for banking credentials, card numbers, or statement access, and it cannot read your real transactions. Every figure in the app is one you entered yourself.
SubKeeper asks for one optional permission: notifications, and only at the moment you switch “Renewal reminders” on in Settings. Declining leaves the rest of the app fully usable. No camera, microphone, photo library, contacts, or location access is requested.
Renewal reminders are worked out on your device and scheduled with the system’s local notification service. No push server is involved, and no subscription information is sent anywhere in order to deliver them. Turning the switch off removes every reminder the app has scheduled.
None. We do not collect usage data, crash reports, device identifiers, spending data, or any personal information. The app makes no network request for your content.
Subscriptions and one-time purchases are handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never see your payment details. Purchase status is checked on-device through StoreKit. Manage or cancel subscriptions in Settings › Apple ID › Subscriptions.
All content stays in the app’s private storage on your device and is included in your normal iCloud or iTunes device backup according to your own backup settings. Deleting the app deletes its data.
SubKeeper does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children under 13, because it collects no information at all.
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with an updated effective date. Because the app has no server, we cannot notify you in-app; check this page if you are concerned.
